๐Ÿชด How to Change Your Minecraft World Seed

The seed defines how your Minecraft world looks โ€” think mountains, rivers, villages, and biomes, all generated based on that seed.

Want to start fresh or found a cool seed code on YouTube or Reddit? Follow these easy steps!

โœจ Step 1: Log in to the Game Panelโ€‹

Go to the OXY.Games control panel:
๐Ÿ‘‰ panel.oxy.games
Log in with your credentials.

๐Ÿ“‚ Step 2: Open the File Managerโ€‹

Click your server from the list and then go to Files in the menu.

More info here: Managing files with the File Manager

๐Ÿงพ Step 3: Find the server.properties fileโ€‹

Scroll down and double-click the server.properties file to open the editor.

๐ŸŒฑ Step 4: Set the new seedโ€‹

Find the following line:

level-seed=

โžก๏ธ Add your seed code after the equals sign. For example:

level-seed=1234567890

You can use numbers, words, or something fun like oxyisawesome.

๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Step 5: Delete the old worldโ€‹

The new seed only applies when generating a new world. So, you need to remove the existing one:

  1. Delete the world, world_nether, and world_the_end folders.
  2. Right-click each folder and select Delete or use the trash can icon.

๐Ÿ” Step 6: Restart your serverโ€‹

Go back to the overview and click Start or Restart.

A brand new world will now be generated using your seed!

๐Ÿงช Tip: Test your seed in singleplayerโ€‹

Want to be sure your seed creates a nice world? Create a singleplayer world with the same seed first โ€” so you know what to expect!
