How to change the world seed
The seed defines how your Minecraft world looks — think mountains, rivers, villages, and biomes, all generated based on that seed.

✨ Step 1: Log in to the Game Panel
Section titled “✨ Step 1: Log in to the Game Panel”Go to the OXY.Games control panel:

Log in with your credentials.

📂 Step 2: Open the File Manager
Section titled “📂 Step 2: Open the File Manager”Click your server from the list and then go to Files in the menu.

🧾 Step 3: Find the server.properties file
Section titled “🧾 Step 3: Find the server.properties file”Scroll down and double-click the server.properties file to open the editor.
🌱 Step 4: Set the new seed
Section titled “🌱 Step 4: Set the new seed”Find the following line:
level-seed=➡️ Add your seed code after the equals sign. For example:
level-seed=1234567890You can use numbers, words, or something fun like
oxyisawesome.
🗑️ Step 5: Delete the old world
Section titled “🗑️ Step 5: Delete the old world”The new seed only applies when generating a new world. So, you need to remove the existing one:
- Delete the
world,world_nether, andworld_the_endfolders. - Right-click each folder and select Delete or use the trash can icon.
🔁 Step 6: Restart your server
Section titled “🔁 Step 6: Restart your server”Go back to the overview and click Start or Restart.
A brand new world will now be generated using your seed!
🧪 Tip: Test your seed in singleplayer
Section titled “🧪 Tip: Test your seed in singleplayer”Want to be sure your seed creates a nice world? Create a singleplayer world with the same seed first — so you know what to expect!
