Set Up a Whitelist

A whitelist lets only approved players join your Hytale server — great for private or friends-only worlds. Here’s how to turn it on and manage it.

✅ Before you start

  • Your Hytale server is running (how to start it)
  • The usernames of the players you want to allow

Option A — Player Manager module (easiest)

  1. Open your server in the game panel and go to More > Players.
  2. Select the player and click on Whitelist icon in the Permissions section.

Option B — Server console

From the Console tab, enable the whitelist and add yourself and your players:

/whitelist enable
/whitelist add PlayerName

Other handy commands:

  • /whitelist remove PlayerName — remove a player
  • /whitelist list — show who’s on the whitelist
  • /whitelist clear — remove everyone from the whitelist
  • /whitelist disable — turn the whitelist off
