Do I need to do anything before players can join?
Section titled “Do I need to do anything before players can join?”Just start your server — that’s it. OXY authenticates your server automatically, so there’s no login or command to run. See Start your server.
How do my friends join my server?
Section titled “How do my friends join my server?”Share your server’s IP address and port from the panel. They add it in Hytale under Servers → Direct Connect or Add Server. See Connect to your server.
How do I become admin?
Section titled “How do I become admin?”Give yourself operator rights with the Player Manager module or the console. See Make a player an admin.
Can I add mods?
Section titled “Can I add mods?”Yes, using the Mods module or by uploading mod files. See Install mods. Always use mods that match your server’s version.
How do I make my server private?
Section titled “How do I make my server private?”Turn on a whitelist so only approved players can join, or set a server password.
How do I back up my world?
Section titled “How do I back up my world?”Use the panel’s Backups feature to create and restore backups any time.
Why does my server sometimes need updating?
Section titled “Why does my server sometimes need updating?”Hytale is in Early Access and updates often. Keeping your server and game on the same version avoids connection problems.
